Nicknames and Two Papaws

My grandfather is good at nicknames. He named me Texas City Red when I was small because that's where I was born, and it's a name that's stuck. He nicknamed Aengy JAK, because his first three initials are perfect for it, Jude Aengus Kimball.
I gave my great grandfather a nickname, Two Papaws. So now JAK has a Two Papaws of his own. It's a wonder any of the Kimballs can keep all of the names straight.

We still can't tell if our little man will have blonde or red hair.

We might start taking bets. Want in?

Happy Monday!

I don't have a nickname for Monday, unless YUCK counts.

Happy Mother's Day to you, and you, and you! From us

We couldn't let Mother's Day go by without thanking all of you who visit us here and keep us in your thoughts. We are so grateful for all of the support and well wishes in our first five months on this exciting little roller coaster.

Mama is back at work full time, and we are lucky Daddy is home in charge all day for now. Daddy and Aengy have a great schedule going, and both of them are grumpy if Mama messes it up somehow.

We are trying to stay with in home care until next school year thanks to Jeff and Staci's mom pitching in this last haul til summer.

Have a wonderful mother's day!

Here Mama is last year, on the day she figured out that she had something to
tell Daddy.... Surprise!

Daddy makes sure that I can see my books all of the time...
